His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the Omukama of Tooro, has paid a visit to Fort Portal Regional Referral Hospital today to examine the current surgical camp and encourage the youngsters who had surgery.
The surgical camp, which began on Monday, has seen a team of local and foreign specialists perform free procedures on dozens of children suffering from deformities caused by medical conditions.
According to Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire, the Prime Minister (OMUHIKIRWA) of Tooro kingdom, 60 youngsters have so far undergone free corrective surgery courtesy of Tooro kingdom, which arranged an orthopedic health camp to honor the 33rd birthday of King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
